Practical 8&9
Briefly reflect on lessons learnt from this practical:
a. Update your blog with magical pictures of your Dream Holiday destinations

b. Which evaluation criteria did you used to evaluate the multimedia websites for your dream holiday? Why?
c. Why did you choose to go to your Dream Holiday destination.
The Maldives is the smallest Asian country in terms of both population and area; it is the smallest predominantly Muslim nation in the world. With two meters from sea level, it is also the country with the lowest highest point in the world. Maldives is a very beautiful place, and it is far from city. It has fantastic coast line and sea is so wonderful.

Practical 7

Briefly reflect on lessons learnt from this practical:
a. Which criteria did you use to evaluate talkingcock.com? Why did you choose this criteria?
http://www.talkingcock.com should be able to sustain its site as it is quite an interesting site to relax. The postings are not meant to be taken seriously, just for entertainment. This kind of joking sites will definitely sustain as there should be quite a lot of people going to this kind of sites to have a laugh.
As a foreigner studying in Singapore, I will feel very weird as I do not know about most of the words used in the web page and need to go to the dictionary in the site to find their meanings, this will be very troublesome as reading a single page.
I would choose purpose to evaluate http://www.talkingcock.com/. As purpose is the most important thing when I want to know about usefulness of the site, since the site is just a site for jokes, I won’t be taking it seriously neither will I use it as useful information.
b. How did you feel about participating in the role plays?
YouTube plays a very small role in my life as the quality of the video is not that satisfying, also I seldom go to YouTube as I only watch videos that are recommended to me, what’s more because of the copyright issues most videos can't be found on YouTube.I will be just fine without YouTube as it does not affect me much.YouTube videos can be used for research purpose when they are accurate and up to date information.
